Now hiring for the following positions:

Senior Accountant

The Sr Acct maintains the Asset/Liability accounts through monthly reconciliations and is responsible for all journal entries. Will maintain Monthly Internal Controls. Responsible maintaining the Schoharie Arc Foundation monthly entries and reconciliations. Monitors Program Development Grants, provide required expenditure reports and complete renewal documents. Assists the Assistant Controller in the preparation of the Consolidated Fiscal Report (CFR). Acts as the lead during all Financial audits. This includes, but is not limited to, gathering necessary files, preparation of Financial Statements, reviewing financial statement drafts, and corresponding with auditors. Assists the Assistant Controller as necessary in preparation of periodic governmental reports and surveys. Prepares and submits the Consolidated Quarterly Reports (CQR) to funding agencies (OMH & OPWDD). Prepares and files the Agencies 403b contribution file with Plan Administrator on a biweekly basis (Nationwide). Assists the Director of Finance with reports necessary for the preparation of the annual operating budget. Prepares and files the NYS Quarterly Sales tax return. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration is required. Two + years of experience with general Accounting, AP, AR, and Payroll is required. Strong Excel skills, accuracy, attention to detail, good communication skills, and team player are all required.

Residential Manager

The Residential Manager is responsible for providing oversight and training to assure all Direct Support Professionals are consistently providing accurate, organized and timely record keeping as follows:

Ensures that all Residential Habilitation documentation is completed in compliance with regulation on a daily basis, and will provide direct oversight to assure all documentation is correctly submitted for billing monthly including daily service notes, Residential Habilitation notes, and Monthly attendance.

Manages resident files consistent with the agency requirements for single case record storage and distribution. Ensures Fire Safety Checklist and Fire Evacuation Plan is completed and current. Provides oversight to assure compliance with timelines of Residential Habilitation plans including a current individual plan of protection for each resident. Facilitates completion of all required annual or semi-annual evaluations to ensure resident plans and records are person-centered and accurate at all times. Keep all resident's records and evaluations confidential. Acts as a member of the Residential Administrative team by assisting with crisis management, contributing to development strategies, and responding as part of an ongoing team process to other changes within the department as they arise. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Must be capable of being certified in medication administration Drivers License Required.

Assistant Residential Director

The Assistant Director is responsible for the oversight of services and supports in multiple environments. The Assistant Director is responsible for day to day provision of quality services and staff supports in designated areas, including the community. Assistant Directors will be excellent teachers and treat each member of the organization with dignity and respect. Assistant Directors will strive to facilitate blending of teams from multiple service environments to achieve greater quality services.

Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred, high school diploma required. Must be willing to work a flexible schedule. Must be capable of being certified in medication administration. Must possess excellent writing, computer and verbal communication skills and demonstrate leadership in Positive Supports and other agency supported philosophies.

Direct Support Professional - Family Support Services

One year of experience supporting people who are developmentally disabled is preferred. Visual, auditory, physical ability to support people and service environment is required. Candidate must be able to lift 75 pounds with or without assistance. Candidate must demonstrate written and oral skills. Required Functions: Driver eligibility required as well as behind the wheel competence. Work primarily day/evening hours in multiple service environments to ensure people are supported in their scheduled activity. Position is Tuesday through Saturday - day/evenings. Schedule available upon request.

Registered Nurse (RN)

Registered Nurse (RN)

Full t ime and per diem positions available. Provide nursing support and assist in oversight of medical services for people. Teach people skills needed for wellness and good health. Teach direct support professionals skills necessary to address nursing needs of people they serve. Maintain all documentation and medical files in a confidential manner. Provide oversight, training and evaluation of staff authorized to administer prescribed medication and treatments. Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse by the New York State Department of Education.One year experience as a supervisor of nursing preferred. NYS driver's license that meets agency guidelines.
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

Currently licensed and registered as a Licensed Practical Nurse by the New York State Education Department with one (1) year experience working in hospital or nursing home preferred. Experience with ID/DD individuals is a plus. Must meet driver eligibility requirements.

Direct Support Professionals

(FT, PT, Overnight, and Relief) For Day Services and Residential Services. Driver

Driver is responsible for the transportation of people with intellectual/developmental disabilities to and from home and agency programs. Must have a valid, unmarked NYS driver's license and meet CDL, DMV and agency insurance requirements and be able to safely drive a bus. Must meet and maintain all requirements for 19A certification and able to lift 75 pounds with or without assistance. Agency will train you for a CDL license.


All positions require a minimum of a High School Diploma or GED. Prior experience working with developmentally disabled individuals preferred. Some positions have lifting requirements.

Valid New York State Drivers License (minimum of 3 years) required for most positions.

Mandatory PPD (tuberculosis skin test) must also be completed prior to the first day of employment. In addition, a criminal background check is required.
