Toe Path Industries Redemption Center, is a fully-operational bottle redemption facility operated by the Schoharie County Arc. The not-for-profit work center is committed to promoting environmental responsibility while offering individuals served by the agency work training and employment opportunities.
Since it's opening in November of 2009, the Redemption Center has redeemed over 2 million bottles and is redeeming approximately 5,000 recyclable containers a week. Customers returning recyclable containers to the Route 30 facility enjoy fast and friendly service, cash refunds on all redeemable bottles and cans, and personal service minus the assistance of complicated bottle return machines. As an added benefit, customers may donate the proceeds of their bottle returns to the Schoharie County Arc to support under-funded services and supports provided to the individuals served by the organization.
The Redemption Center accepts glass and aluminum beer containers; plastic, aluminum and glass soda containers; and bottled water and carbonated juice containers most recently added to the list of recyclables to be taxed with a bottle deposit.
Conveniently located on the Schoharie County Arc Campus, on Route 30 between Middleburgh and Schoharie, the Redemption Center is open Monday through Friday 9 a.m - 4 p.m. For large groups or bottle drive fundraisers, the Redemption Center is open by appointment
